Ensuing

This time of year you hear a word you don't hear any other time of year. That word is "ensuing." The sportscaster will say,"The ensuing kickoff was run back for a touchdown." Always the "ensuing kickoff" or maybe in a rare moment of eloquence the "ensuing point after." How else would you use that word? Try using "ensuing" in a reasonable sentence. See what I mean?
