By overwhelming popular demand I have cancelled my free planned 10 AM lecture this morning on Kant's Categorical Imperative at the Pelham Starbucks in favor of my equally free popular talk on the book of "Revelation."

Outline:
A Brief History of End Times Views: How our Times Shape our ...
Different end times views primarily fall into two categories based on the millennium (the thousand-year reign of Christ) and the timing of the Second Coming: Premillennialism (Christ returns before the millennium), Postmillennialism (Christ returns after the millennium), and Amillennialism (the millennium is symbolic and happening now). Additionally, there are Futurism (prophecies are yet to be fulfilled), Preterism (prophecies have already been fulfilled), Historicism (prophecies are continuous to the present), and Idealism (Revelation is symbolic of good vs. evil) that provide different frameworks for interpreting the Book of Revelation.
Question and Answer Session in Conclusion
If you are not confused now, you surely will be after my presentation.
