Risk Either Way

A case can be made to impeach Trump.  There is ample evidence to begin an impeachment investigation.  The House has a Constitutional mandate to do so in this case.  Trump is clearly usurping Congressional authority in defiance of the Constitutional separation of powers and he is a clear threat to our democracy.  On the other hand, the political consideration says to wait and let him hang himself.  If the House impeaches, the Republican Senate will acquit and Trump could claim he's been cleared.  The view here is that best focus on beating him at the polls in November of 2019.  An impeachment process is risky.  It is also risky to let him go on as is.  So far I favor trying to choke him short of impeachment and unseating him at the polls.  Either course is risky.  We are in a difficult situation either way with this man.
