Flight

I saw the movie yesterday and I am not kidding when I say it's one of the best movies I've ever seen.  I say that because this movie is a tense, fast moving drama, with a clear story to tell.  Daniel Day-Lewis will probably win the Oscar for best actor, but if I had a vote I'd vote for Denzil Washington.  In essence it's about an alcoholic/drug addict facing up to his problem.  "Whit" is a pilot who miraculously crash lands his plane and is first a hero.  But then evidence mounts that he was drunk flying the plane.  The picture comes to a totally satsfying and ediffying conclusion, which is another reason it's a great movie.  I like films with clear endings.  Enough said.
