St. Patrick's Day is a field day for stereotypes. The Irisih have a mystique, don't they? Are all Irish men named Paddy? Do they drink Guiness for breakfast? Do they really say "O' be Jaysus!" Are leprehcauns for real? Have you ever been to an Irish wake where they stand the deceased up in a corner and drink to him? Do the Irish stereotypically have red hair? When Irish eyes are smiling is all the world really bright and gay? Why the "luck of the Irish?" Why not the "luck of the Alabamians?"
