I am watching a four part series on Bobby Kennedy. He did not like LBJ. Here is a quote from an audio recording of Kennedy discussing Johnson after his brother was assassinated:
"Our president [JFK] was a gentleman and a human being. This man [LBJ] is not. He's mean, bitter, vicious. Animal in many ways."
Kennedy's disdain for LBJ can't be any clearer than that.
