On Education

I believe in education, but unlike Thomas Jefferson and Lyndon Johnson I am not misty headed about it. I do like to be able to read and write and cipher, but would the country be better off if everybody of age had a bachelor's degree? I doubt it. Would the country be better off if everybody of age had a Phd? Certainly not. We'd really be at each other's throats then.
