Over the course of my life I have progressed from a callow, small town, uncouth Southern youth of the 60's & 70's, surviving middle age, advancing to a callow, small town uncouth Southern senior citizen to a world in which I mostly do not fit anymore.  Progress though I do claim still.  Callowness in my 70's makes up for missing the decade of the 70's as there are different age-stage levels of callowness.
