As the country becomes "Plutocrasized" and Digitized it will be all over quickly if not now then soon and as in 1984 memories will erased and no one will remember the way it used to be. Faulkner was wrong. The past WILL be past, no longer here, as our 8-second attention spans normalize the new now. As in "Some Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" the fog will roll in and we will not recognize the people and life we used to know.
