Down South we say "Good Lord willin' and the creeks don't rise." Well,
we know the Good Lord is always willin'; we just hope the creeks don't
rise today as rain sweeps across Alabama. We also like to say "we need
the rain." It's just that we don't need too much of it at one time. We
gonna batten down the hatches and be just fine. The term "flash
flooding" don't go over well down here.
