Today on NPR I heard the esteemed historian Gordon Wood talking on the Diane Rehm Show. Professor Wood, professor emeritus at Brown University, is the most honored and respected historian of our country's origins in the 18th century. He is the author many, many books detailing the Revolutionary War and the founding of the country. After hearing him speak, I expect to read his books.
