Black Holes

I wish Stephen Hawking would shut up about black holes. Who gives a rip about black holes out there in the far universe beyond beyond. It's a long way to Tipperary and even longer to the nearest black hole. My philosophy is that if black holes don't bother me then I don't bother them. Is there anything more boring to imagine than a bunch of astronomers sitting around debating about black holes? Hawking says he's still puzzled about black holes. I am puzzled why I can't remember what I was thinking 2 minutes ago. I rest my case.
