It's Crowded Out There

Everybody and his brother seems out and about in town today. (I do not know where the sisters are) There was a wreck on I-65 so naturally I chose to take I-65. I should never take the interstates in this town as a matter of public safety for my presence invariably causes a wreck to happen somewhere to slow traffic down. Costco is a madhouse. (Whom is going to lock up who?) Dairy Queen is close to selling out of ice cream and KFC is running low on chicken nuggets. As I drive by I notice that the liquor store parking lot in Alabaster is full. Garth and Tricia are in town and there's a heavyweight championship fight on the UAB campus at Bartow Arena. I bet Gene never thought this event would happen in his house.
