Back in the 70's, which is about as far back as my weathered mind can safely remember, a hip thing to say was that if we could not agree, we could at least agree to to disagree, and still get along, the safe way to reach agreement. But now in 2025, it seems to me we can no longer say this. If we disagree, then we disagree. Now you go your way, and I'll go my way. Let us not pretend to agree to disagree. It's gone too far now. Like seeks like and simply avoids unlike. So be it. Can't we all just get along? Well, yes, but only if we live in our own worlds.
