This is National Physics Day. Whatever this means. The truth is that I always wanted to be a theoretical physicist but I wasn't smart enough and so I am at peace yrs ago from this unrealistic aspiration. Like Einstein, I have difficulties with mathematics, which by itself would preclude any kind of serious consideration of working in physics. This is the only thing I have in common with Einstein

except intellectual curiosity, which, now that I think about it, is not a bad thing to have in common with Einstein.
