Our Dictators
Historians and students of American history know that calling our President a dictator or an incipient dictator is nothing new. The Whig Party came together in opposition to King Andrew (Jackson). Abraham Lincoln, probably the most hated President in our history, was called many unflattering names, not the least of which was "dictator." And Franklin Roosevelt, my goodness, was called a dictator long before he ran for an unprecedented third term in 1940. It seems about time that we raised up another candidate for dictatorship. None of the other would-be dictators panned out. What about the current candidate?
