Adair and I were at the Italian restaurant in Hoover for lunch. I have patronized this fine eating establishment for years. I know the owner lady, such a nice person that makes you desire return and return. Somehow the subject came up "what would you do if you suddenly had a million dollars."
The owner lady at first said she didn't know what she would do. Then right as we left she came over to our table and said, "I've been doing this (running a restaurant) for 40 years. I think I'd still be right here. This is what I do."
"This is what I do." These words have stuck with me. Who are you? This is what I do. Tell me what you do. You are what you DO.
