This Winter will go the Distance

Like a heavyweight championship fight it looks like this winter will go the distance. Until it's over I am keeping my powder dry, making plans for spring, getting ready for April showers to bring May flowers. I can't wait for the spring pollen to cover my car. I can't wait for the sniffling and sneezing to begin and the watery eyes to annoy me. I can't wait for spring cleaning to commence. There is barely a path thru my garage. My spring wardrobe needs some help but the funds are not readily available to bring much improvement, and so the thrift store will have to suffice. Yes, this winter will go the distance. There will not be a sudden knockout.
