The State of the Presidential Race (5)

Normally the VP debate doesn't mean anything.  Tonight might be different.  At least I get the impression Democrats think it's different.  There seems to be the expectation that Biden will lay the wood to Ryan.  I hope so, but I am concerned that expectations are too great for Biden.  I doubt this debate will change anything, and I hope Biden doesn't say something stupid.  What Biden needs to do more than anything is expose the lies and equivocations of Romney/Ryan.  Again, I just hope Democrats haven't put too much hope into this debate.  Please, Mr. Vice-President, don't say anything embarassing.
