When Moyna and I married in 1980 we started with my 12" Black and White Motorola. Eventually we purchased our first color TV with a remote. I never learned to operate the remote. Moyna always controlled it with my pleasure. We'd watch football on Saturdays in the Fall and I'd say, "CBS. ESPN. ESPN2" directing her in changing channels. I am now operating a remote for the first time. Learning the ropes.

And remotes have so many more buttons today. It is a steep learning curve.
