Let Him Sleep

I would have let Punxsutawney Phil continue to sleep. Poor guy! Forced to predict the weather, he should have been allowed to continue in repose. Why are we homo sapiens consumed with animals predicting the weather? We have local TV weathermen to guess for us and thereby give us laughs. We don't need some rodent in Pennsylvania being held up high like a trophy to make us laugh. Animal cruelty!
