Bill Press, a liberal political commentator, said -
Mr. Trump may not get the magical 1,237 delegates to secure the nomination. In that case, the GOP will have a "brokered," "contested," or "open" convention in Cleveland, depending on how you want to call it. The Republican establishment and Stop Trump movement supporters say the GOP should ignore the will of the people and nominate somebody besides Trump at a contested convention, although he would have the most votes and most delegates. On the other hand, the GOP contends that we should wait until after the presidential election to confirm a nomination to the Supreme Court, asserting that the voters should decide the next Supreme Court justice. Which is it: Let the voters decide or ignore the will of the voters?
What a joke.
