Finally, I think Babe Ruth would have been fun to be around, but I wouldn't want him as a friend based on what I read in the Leigh Montville biography. He would be too much trouble. His take on bowling late in life is interesting. He wasn't interested in his score; all he cared about was simply knocking down pins. He would bowl and bowl and bowl just to add up his total pinfall. Very strange, if you ask me!
