It seems we don't know how to connect anymore, so absorbed as we are in our screens, barely noticing the person in front of us, and if we do notice, not interested in the person in front of us unless there is some immediate common affinity. One disagreeable word and we quickly lose interest. Really getting to know someone can take a little time, and we can't seem to spare the required time.
